rude and impatient. Constantly hangs up the phone during appointment when irritated. I had to stop seeing her because she did not seem to care.

As a patient of the Dr. Sliwowski, I think she is an excellent Psychiatrist and great human being. Thank you Dr. Sliwowski.

I didn't even know her and was trying to get help for my son and even though she wasn't in she returned my call and got me help through a emergency case manager and a therapist then we saw her a week later and she gave us meds and now my son is way better and in treatment. She really helped my family and we are blessed and thakful.

I am allergic to most medications used to help what I have and yet Dr. Sliwowski did not give up on me. She listened to me, found a medication for me and got me to a stable place.

She helped me when I was real down and alone

I walked in and was seen. I was in real bad shape and she did a good review and I got some meds then she saw me in again and I felt better. I’m doing good now and it’s thanks to her since no one was helping me. Bless her, so nice and kind to me and my family thanks her to.

As some who suffers from mental illness, I'm surprised she treated me the way she did while I was under her care. Aren't psychiatrists of all people supposed to be more sympathetic towards those with mental health problems? Here are some examples of why I terminated my relationship with Dr. Donna Sliwowski: - Never on time for appointments - Does not refill medications on time - Does not call back in a timely manner - Blames things on the patient or pharmacy - Does not take responsibility for her mistakes - No rapport between doctor and patient at all The last straw was when I left a message to reschedule. She called back a week later and left a message. By then I had fallen into a slump because she hadn't refilled my medicine as promised. When I was able to function again, a week had passed. I left a message again, and she rudely called back saying I should've called earlier because now she didn't have time to see me. Way to be a complete jerk to the mental vulnerable.

My doctor goes above and beyond to help me through hard situations, not only giving me medication that helps, but also listening kindly and supporting me. She makes me feel good about myself, and that I can do things. I am doing better at work, I am getting along better with my family and am happier. She taught me how to get rid of my panic attacks and I never get them anymore. Finally, someone who listens and cares.
