Never saw the Dr. Her staff was so rude about my insurance being Medicare. I cancelled the appointment and went to another doctor.

After being a patient for more than 10+ years, I must rate as one start on the administrative side of the business. Situation: I had a 2 pm appointment that needed to be canceled due to an unplanned meeting at precisely 2 pm on the day of my appointment. Our CEO’s administrator scheduled a meeting with all company executives at night. As soon as I saw the message in the morning (7:30 am approx., but no later), I left a message letting them know I needed to reschedule. I received a call from their office verifying that they got my message and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said yes, and we proceeded to discuss other dates that might be feasible. The young lady commented that a $50.00 cancellation fee would have to be paid because I didn’t give 24-hour notice which she said is their policy. I voiced my concern by saying I don’t agree with the policy of lumping those who do give proper notice (more than 6 hours) of a need to reschedule with people who do not show up or call at… all for an appointment. She said – that’s our policy. I said okay but please let the doctor know that I don’t agree with that policy. Being coached from someone else in the office - I could hear someone telling her something to which she said to me I will need your payment of $50.00 now before the appointment can be set. I said wait – are you telling me you won’t reschedule the appointment until I pay now? I immediately ended the call by saying I would call back because I was in a bit of shock in the way I was being treated. I realized I was being treated in a manner that I found very unpleasant and distasteful. The end result: seeking better treatment elsewhere after 10+ years. I do plan to pay the outstanding amount in addition to the demand for $50.00 because I pay my bills. However, I obviously was upset enough to take the time to write a review based on my experience with the administrative team.

What I don't like about Dr. Stockton, is she doesn't spend a lot of time with you. she's just in and out and leave everything up to her Medical assistant to address. I realize she has a lot of patients to see. I just feel rushed with her.

She didn't thoroughly explain the risks of the product she prescribed. Left my skin worse than it was before.

HAD A LARGE CANCEROUS LESION REMOVED ON MY LEFT EAR. PROCEDURE PERFORMED QUICKLY, PAINLESSLY, AND BETTER YET WITH NO SCARRING.

I was referred to Dr. Stockton by my OB/GYN. The staff in front were very friendly and helpful. However, when I was called back into the patient room, the "tone" of my visit shifted. The proceeded to ask me the general questions, "Allergic to medicine?, Do you smoke? etc." After answering "Yes" to the smoking question and the "trying to conceive" question, she replied with the following "You shouldn't be smoking, especially if you are trying to get pregnant." I just knew I did not hear her correctly, so I asked her to repeat what she'd said - and she did. I'm a new patient, and the MA did not know anything about my medical history - or anything about me and my "struggle" to conceive. I came to get help with my acne. I was in a perfect position to react in a manner that would have been disrespectful - and frankly, unleash a verbal clarification that could have brought her to tears. But I sensed that she was young in many ways - completely unrelated to her age. … Nonetheless, I felt completely judged - which was ironic, seeing as my OB/GYN knows everything about me, and she has never given me that advice. Dr. Stockton seemed nice, but it was hard for me to focus on her when I had just had that interaction with her MA. I have visited many dermatologists, on a quest to find a solution for a long-term acne issue, and I will say that Dr. S did not ask me nearly the amount of questions that other doctors have asked, nor did she "look" at my skin - get up close and personal to really see what was happening. I mentioned body acne, and she didn't ask to see it. That part wasn't a huge deal, I understand that physicians are busy and I would just make sure that I had all of my questions ready to ask, when I returned. I accepted the prescriptions - but I don't know the likelihood of me returning to the office because of the MA.

Dr Stockton and Jessica are wonderful. They are both so polite, personable, and have the best bedside manner. My entire family goes to them.

My daughter made an appointment with Dr Stockton to evaluate a birthmark and discuss it's removal. We did not see Dr Stockton. Her PA evaluated the birthmark, which in and of itself is not a deal breaker but does this Practice actually think I'm letting a Doctor I haven't met excise a birthmark on my daughter's face? That shows a total lack of respect for the patient. I'm taking her to a Michigan Ave Plastic Surgeon who I know she will meet in person.

The Dr. Is down to earth, pleasant and good at her job. The staff was courteous. If I had one negative, is the lack of getting back to you with results. Nearly two weeks and then I had to call along with getting a follow up so I could get an explanation.

What was articulated to me on the phone prior to my appt. was not the case when I arrived. I basically spent an hour getting the run around and saw the doctor for less than 2 mins. The staff was rude, as was the doctor. I would not go back and was definitely the worst experience I've had with a health care professional.
