Dr. Donna Marie Vorias, MD

I and my wife have been patience of Dr Vorias for years. Last several visits she is impatient, if you disagree or correct her she becomes impatient bordering on condescending. She doesn't take the balanced easy going approach like she used to. I don't know if its Covid and being a doctor during these times. But we no longer believe we have a relationship with her and she isn't really listening. Time to move to another doctor.

While family has been seein Dr. Vorias for many years. She takes the time to discuss whatever you’d like, doesn’t panic over small stuff yet will offer pragmatic opinions. Very good human.

Dr. Vorias is very thorough and really cares about her patients

If you disagree with her she is very rude and immature. If you call her out on something she gets annoyed and thinks she’s uppity! Worst doctor I have ever had. She got mad at me and wouldn’t renew my prescription for more than 30 days so she’s making me come back into the office which I have already fired from being my dr and will see one of the other doctors in the practice.

After only speaking to my son for, at most, 10 minutes, Dr. Vorias diagnosed him with a virus that needed to run its course for the length of "7 to 10 days". Then, when we asked for a letter to excuse him from school for the previous week, she took a very cold and uppity tone, saying he should have gone to work and school. He had already told her that the worst part had been exhaustion, which I could verify he had been sleeping around the clock for the week, only getting up to go to the bathroom and eat a little bit. She then said we should have come in sooner. WHY? She wasn't able to do anything for him!! We know there isn't anything that treats viruses, and we only made the appointment after it wasn't looking like he was getting over it!! I can't believe this medical professional would 1. Tell people they should go to work and school with a virus, spreading it to others and 2. act like it's appallingly to ask for a doctors note, when most jobs and schools require it with absences!! I… was shocked and angry to see my son treated so poorly when he's already been down with illness!! Unfortunately what she doesn't know, and now, will never get to know, is that my son is a kind, sweet, awesome person. He'said working his way through school and still takes the time to visit his grandparents and Ta key his younger brothers out to the movies. He takes special time to take his brother, who has Autism, out for special bonding times. He also moved in with his Grandmother, to help her for months after she lost her husband. My son is an extraordinary young man and I'm very upset by the way he was treated by this seemingly arrogant. I wouldn't want my loved ones subjected to her, for any reason!!!

this doctor sent me to get a c.t. scan a enlarged lymph node that could of been diagnosed by a simple blood test for e.b. v. virus, and then when the lymph node was going down she wanted me to get it biopsied. My new doctor diagnosed me even before she gave me a blood test. So mad at her, because of the cost of the c.t. scan and high anxiety she gave me.

Please do not see this doctor she will try to do many very expensive tests that you do not need, maybe because she does not trust herself. only see her is you have a lot of money for health care.

First off, she's very sincere and actually talks to you. Second she conduct herself very profesionally and always listens to you and bases her opinion on what you tell her. Last she's very attractive. Not that it matters, but she obviously takes good care of herself, and that's important to me - that the doctor walks the walk! Her picture doesn't do her enough justice. Much prettier in person!

I have been seeing Dr. Vorias for a number of years as a family doctor and she is very caring and knowledgeable. She always puts me at ease and makes me feel like I am a family member that she is concerned about.

Even after moving to Howell, I kept my internist in Southfield for 5 years because I didn't think I would be able to find a comparable competent physician in Livingston County. Boy was I wrong. Dr. Vorias asked ME questions; she didn't wait for me to tell her if I had anything wrong. Then she listened carefully to what I had to say. A few months after my first appoinment, I had a serious medical scare. She made sure I had all the tests I needed to have and took the time to explain what had happened and why it happened. Very down to earth - like a friend.
