Dr. Donna Woolfolk, MD

I never leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. Throughout my pregnancy, every appointment with Dr.Woolfolk has felt rushed. I typically only saw her for maybe 3-5 minutes, after her staff had already taken my vitals, reviewed my symptoms, and gone over any questions. She would briefly review what the staff had told her, ask if I had questions, and then completely brush over anything I shared. At one visit, I tried to explain that I’d been having severe back and hip pain, and she basically ignored me. I felt dismissed and unheard. The final straw was when I brought her a medical accommodation form for my job, which I had already pre-filled (and a blank copy just incase) to make it easier on her because she’s already shown me she wouldn’t want to take the time out of her day to fill it out herself, and she refused to even review it and instead told me she was transferring me to high-risk care. Not because I asked for anything extreme, but because she acted like… my request was too much. All I was asking for was a recommendation for light duty at my job as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). I currently work three back-to-back physically demanding sessions every day: 8–11, 12–2, 2–4. Each session requires squatting, sitting on the floor, bending, lifting, redirecting toddlers and young children, and maintaining physical engagement with clients for extended periods. With my already diagnosed maternal obesity, cervical shortening, and increasing pain, I simply requested to replace one session per day with an admin/light-duty session to reduce physical strain and support a safer pregnancy. That’s it, and my job was fully willing to approve the request as long as she signed the prewritten form or completed it in her own words. Instead, she chose to transfer me to high-risk maternal care because she felt that handling the accommodation request was too much for her. She not only refused to support this, but stated she didn’t understand why my job would cause strain or require any modifications, which was incredibly invalidating and medically inaccurate. If you’re looking for a provider who takes the time to listen, support your health needs, and respect the physical realities of pregnancy, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I agree with the previous review that she’s basically a robot.

On our first visit she let us wait in the waiting room for 1,5 hour. She knew she was occupied for a while (delivering a baby), but she did not manage to tell us and ask if we want to reschedule. Every time they said, 15 more minutes, we're waiting for a room now. Blabla. We walked out, I don't want to have somebody to help deliver a baby that is not on time. Afterwarsd they called and told us 1 hour wait is normal, so if you don't mind waiting and don't have a day job, good luck with Woolfolk.

My first visit was out of this world. This Dr and all of her staff including the receptionist are great in every area. The office is filled with compassionate workers that care about their patients. The level of concern can be categorized to a mother and child. I highly recommend Dr.Woolfolk and her team. Absolute PERFECTION!!!!!!!

Dr. Woolfolk is an excellent doctor. She is caring and has compassion for her clients. She delivered my last child in 2000, and it was a wonderful experience. In spite of my health challenges, I had uneventful pregnancy due to Dr. Woolfolk's expertise and close monitoring of my pregnancy.

Dr. Woolfolk is one of the best doctors I have and ever had. I have been a patient since 1991. If you are looking for someone who cares, professional, and always up to date with new products and procedures look no further! You want be disappointed.
