Dr. Donnie Dale Bouchard, DO

I took all 4 of my children to Dr. Bouchard when he was in the Grand Rapids area. He was very caring and took great interest in my children and their development. I wish he hadn't of moved.

We had this dr for our children in GR MI. I have to say since he is no longer here it I hard to find a more caring guy! Not only did he care fir the children but is the parents!! We miss him..

Ilove this doctor he is excellent my little girl also loves the doctors there.

This doctor i had many many problems with, When i had my first appointment with him I told him that my 5year old daughter had ADHD, and he told me that i was wrong and that she had something else wrong (i have ADD myself) finally after extensive testing he resulted that she had ADHD.Then finally put her on meds. when the meds weren't working he would just up the dose. finally it got to be to much and i called them to come in again. We met i told him way to much meds, that we needed to try something else in a lower dose. HE PUT HER ON 10 MGS HIGHER THAN SHE WAS ON IN A DIFFERENT MEDICATION. SHE IS 5 AND IS ABOUT 32 LBS AND WAS TAKING MILLIGRAM FOR EACH POUND.Well i didn't know that the new meds was an up in dose, becuase he only spends 2 minutes to 4 minutes in the room with her and walks out when i am asking question about the meds.To make a long stories shorter, she ended up over dosing on the meds and had to take her off them immediatly.I then called the office to make another… appointment and told them that she was over dosing on her meds, and they told me that i have a appointment in 2 weeks that they were not going to see her until then.THAT WAS THE LAST I SAW OF THEM.In search of another doctor, i was made aware of other stories just like mine.I am not writing this to bad mouth this doctor, but to make others with small children, aware of the troubles i had.
