Blessing to have found him!!

My therapist persuaded me to see Dr. Kim for a psychiatric consultation. Was reluctant at first, but Dr. Kim was very nice, clear, and helpful.

Dr. Kim is an excellent doctor. He is compassionate, reliable, and intelligent. From the very first sessions he showed a deep respect for me as an individual and expressed his full committment to my care. He creates a safe environment free of judgement while also guiding in a productive and helpful way that offers just the right amount of challenge. Thanks to him my life has dramatically improved. I went from being depressed and anxious with difficulty forming healthy relationships to being able to navigate difficult family relationships and form and maintain several healthy friendships with very minimal anxiety and a much more positive outlook. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kim has been great. More than any other doctor, he makes sure to explain things. When we originally met for first 1 hour consultation, he apologized there was not enough time to review a plan more thoroughly. He insisted we schedule a 1/2 hour follow up the following week to review the plan and address my questions and did not charge me for it. Very smart and easy going.

Have not had good experiences with previous therapists. So far after a month Dr. Kim seems pretty cool.

At first, uncertain about sometimes jarringly direct approach. Later pleased to discover really cares and very helpful. Office is pleasant. Impressed he calls back and follows up.

First psychiatrist I have seen who seems to understand what's important to singers - exercise, rest, warm up, nutrition, and hydration. Not only did he treat my anxiety and depression, he respected my performance worries and stayed away from meds that might give me weight gain and dry mouth. Loooove him!!

Dr. Kim is great! I usually dislike doctors/psychiatrists... impatient, smug approach that often makes me feel like a bother or to blame. But Dr. Kim is totally cool, direct but fair, and easy to talk to. I'm glad I found him.
