Dr. Dora Kaman Leung, MD

My help to other patients , don't even start with her. I've been a patient for over 12 years to treat stenosis , typically i go in once a year for a check-up. I recently had a very painful flair up. she wouldn't give me a appointment till 4 months out. She wouldn't even get on the phone to speak with me, .borderline malpractice. Not the dr for you if she can't see you when you are having a major problem

I can tell you this. she won't be there when you really need her. I've been going to her for over 12 years. I usually see her once a year for a check-up. about a month ago I got a flair-up and really needed to see her. She wouldn't get on the phone and her assistant told me she wouldn't see me till sometime in Jan.

Dr Leung made me feel comfortable immediately. She was very professional, kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. She explained the results of my EMG and discussed my options with me. I would highly recommend Dr Leung and her wonderful staff.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Leung. There was very little wait time to see her, about five minutes. She did not rush the appointment. She took her time investigating different scenarios for my case. When she conducted my EMG test, she put her hand on me every time and gave me a "1, 2, 3" warning before the needle went in. She made an unpleasant experience as pleasant as it could be. I would recommend her.

Dora Leung lacks bedside manner. She was having a bad day and took it out on her patients. I had no confidence in her. When I left, I saw her next patient, an elderly man, say, "hello Dira" as he read her name tag. She yelled at him, "that's DOCTOR Leung to you!" The poor old man was mortified. Leung is a lousy person. Maybe she has medical skills but there are a lot of good doctors and I will see one who also has a good heart next time.
