Dr. Doreen G Blake, MD

Dr. Doreen Blake is the worst! I would never refer her to anyone. My wait time was over 2 hours and when she does see you she does NOT listen to anything that you tell her. She is verbally abusive and nasty. She will not own up to her own errors. She does not respond back to her patients in a timely manner. I’m reporting her to the Board of physicians. This foolishness must and will STOP! Do NOT use her as your Doctor.

I have been a patient of this doctor for several years. Her professionalism and medical demeanor have vastly declined over the years. She has misdiagnosed my condition of "diverticulitis" as lactose intolerant and told me to go get "Diary Ease" to treat my symptoms. SHE WAS GROSSLY WRONG! (2) She told me that I didn't need a "colonoscopy" after months of pain in my stomach area, and thank God my gastro doc performed the colonoscopy anyway, and found 3 "pre-cancerous polyps"!!! I had my annual with her, I got there early (no problem to wait), I waited for 2 hrs & 20 minutes. They made me wait 20 minutes past my appt time and she had "NO PATIENTS IN FRONT ME"!!! So as I complained to the staff. Once finally in the examining room, Dr. "Blake" accused me of causing a raucous in the waiting room, which I told her I DID NOT, but expressed my anxiety to the staff, as I was waiting now 20 minutes past my appt time and that she was in the office the entire time, with no patients! She… then had the nerve to go and get her "Office Manager" so that she could argue against what I was saying, and basically call me a "LIAR"! I was NOT going to argue with her and the Mgr, and got up and dressed and told her I'll NEVER BE BACK!!!! I AM REPORTING HER TODAY, TO MY HEALTHCARE PROVIDER!!!!!!!!! WARNING TO ANYONE RESEARCHING THIS DOCTOR...STAY AWAY!!!!!! SHE IS UNPROFESSIONAL, ARROGANT, COMBATIVE WITH NO BEDSIDE MANNER....WHATSOEVER!!! RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM DR. DOREEN G. BLAKE!!!!!

Dr Blake did not take the time to listen to my medical issues

Dr. Blake is rude and unprofessional. She doesn’t care anything about her patients and does not respect their time.

I love Dr. Blake, she is easy to talk to and takes to time to listen, she has an infectious smile and makes you feel at ease about your health, she is straight to the point and lays out a plan. The blessed thing is when you see the results she is rejoicing with you.

As an African American I always strive to support other business owners and health care providers within my ethnic background. To my dismay, going to Dr. Doreen G.Blake proved to be very disappointing. She displayed no bedside manner, little patience and no concern for me as her patient; she was actually edgy. I attempted to ask her questions and get information regarding my medical condition to no avail. Yes, I with back to give her the benefit of the doubt and my follow up appointment was Not any better. It became evident that she had no time for me and did not value me as a patient. To that end, I am no longer placing race above an effective, attentive and compassionate medical practitioner; I always knew an informative and caring doctor is vital for maintaining my good health.

Waited over an hour to see doctor. Arrived 15 minutes early. I was furious. Time to look for another doctor!

I have never had a problem when I go there even when I don't. If another doctor sends her info on one of my visits with them that she feels needs her attention also, Dr Blake office will call me to tell me want they want me to do and follows up.

I am not one to run to the doctor all the time. I go when I am absolutely in need. The first few times I have visited this office, the visit was exceptionally great! Perhaps my last visit I caught my doctor on a bad day. My personal opinion is: Don't "accomodate" me if you really dont have time for me. I called to see if there were any available slots for the day. I expressed all of my concerns over the phone, got there waited nearly an hour. When the doctor finally entered the room she wasnt all that pleasant, she expressed that my issues were not that great. End of story I paid a $20 copay, 50 minute wait for a 5 minute visit and no diagnosis. To add injury to insult, she walked out of the office. The most unprofessional, rude experience I have had.
