Dr. Doreen Margaret Mcevoy, MD

I had a chronic illness and no doctor I saw took the time to listen to what I was saying. When I met with Dr. Mcevoy I was met with kindness and empathy. Not only did she hear me but she figured out what was wrong and helped me get on the right track for healing. I recommend her to everyone I know.

If you have a chronic or difficult condition, she always listens to what you have to say, always gives practical advice to solve medical problem. She has saved my hide several times by pointing out problems that some of my medications given by my specialist doctors and finding other solutions so I could have better health. She was willing to engage in problem solving of my complicated condition even though it took up extra time.

Dr. McEvoy had always reviewed my file before my appointments, and was ready to address any issues. She was very proactive in her approach to health, identifying potential problems before they impacted my health. and charting a course of action. I'm very sorry to see her leave PNMC. She set the bar very high.

Dr. McEvoy is always jovial and kind. She is attentive and extremely thorough. She will reach out to other specialists for consult to research my concern fully. She follows up when she says she's going to follow up - even on the weekends. She realizes both patients' time and money are valuable and will write orders for tests/studies accordingly. She does sometimes try to add humor into our appointments, which help lighten the mood, but are not always necessary - but I appreciate that this is her style of medicine and connecting with her patients. She is well-liked by the technologists at the radiology center - so much in fact that they told me to relay a message to her about how much they missed seeing her since she primarily works out of the Bloomington Park Nicollet Clinic at this time.
