Dr. Doreen Mchugh Pratt

Dr. Doreen Pratt has known she has wanted to be a dentist since she was 8 years old.  She has been working in the dental field since she was in high school.  She did her undergraduate studies at The University of California Irvine.  While there she was President of the Dental Club and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.  She then pursued her education in Dentistry at Tufts Dental School in Boston. While there she was a CPR instructor for the University.   She enjoyed the east coast for 4 years but always knew she wanted to settle in California where she was born.  She worked in San Diego for 3 years while her husband David was finishing his residency in Family Practice Medicine. Both she and her husband were offered job opportunities in Napa and have been here ever since.  She has been with the office since 2000.  She loves people and enjoys working with small children through adulthood.
She enjoys spending time with her husband David and her two sons …Joshua and Sean.
In her spare time she loves to water-ski, snow ski and cycle.
"I feel blessed to live and work in a community where I get to know my patients in and out of the office.   I enjoy getting to know my patients as individuals, seeing their families grow and being in their service.   I believe some of my best teachers have been my patients."
