Dr. Dorette Lewis-Senior, MSAc.BS-RN. MT, ND

Dr. Dorette Lewis-Senior, ND, RN, MSAc, MT affectionately called “Dr. Dorette,” is a Licensed Naturopathic Physician at DRS 2 Health in the state of Connecticut with more than 19 years of naturopathic licensure and over 30 years of combined healthcare experience.

She is also a certified Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Specialist and a certified Medical Thermographer. Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Dorette served for many years as a registered nurse, and she continues to work extensively across the field of health and wellness in a variety of clinical and community settings.

Professionally, Dr. Dorette serves as Director of Integrated Care at Inspir in New York, NY, where she collaborates on patient care with multiple medical providers, therapists, and healthcare agencies. She is co-founder of DRS 2 Health (founded 2007) and its nonprofit partner Healing Streams Ministry Incorporated (since 2014), and she maintains a private naturopathic consulting practice. She …also works as the Resident Service Director at Maplewood at Darien, CT, supervising nursing staff and certified nurse’s aides while coordinating care with other providers and agencies.

Dr. Dorette is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and public education. She was the producer and host of the weekly radio program “The Wellness Hour & Radio University,” and she is a sought-after speaker for women’s retreats, conferences, workshops, and corporate wellness events. She enjoys health and lifestyle counseling, leading wellness retreats, and delivering skills-building workshops for aspiring health professionals and community groups.

As a Naturopathic Doctor and holistic health and wellness consultant, Dr. Dorette emphasizes prevention, early detection, and safe recovery. Her approach blends spiritual devotion, nursing experience, and naturopathic expertise to combine faith, science, and nature in an integrative healing model. She stays current with emerging trends and evidence in healthcare and is open to incorporating new, safe discoveries to help patients achieve long-term success.

Dr. Dorette Lewis-Senior holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Institute at the University of Bridgeport, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Mount Saint Vincent. During her naturopathic training she completed clinical rotations at the Yale-Griffin Integrative Medicine Center (Derby, CT), Greenwich Hospital (CT), and Waterbury Hospital (CT). She received her certificate as a Medical Thermographer from Med-Hot Thermal Imaging Inc. in Lakeland, Florida.
