Dr. Doris A Barizo

Staff was nice. Doctor was rude and overpriced. Way too much overselling considering I came in to have a missing filing looked at and ended up with four xrays (they wanted to do more) and photos taken of my mouth including havng a bizarre and uncomfortable contraption put in there . Doctor announced that she was going to clean my teeth, without asking if it had already been done recently (it had). She referred to the missing filling, chipped tooth area as “big gigantic” at least six times, untiI I asked her to knock it off! Perhaps worst of all, she challenged the information in my questionnaire, bluntly asking, well how come you have emphysema if you don’t smoke!? (The answer is apparently bad luck, bad genetics and a chain smoking grandmother I was forced to share a bedroom with as a preteen.). I called up my old dentist after the appointment and their price was $400.00 less for a crown. This is the first negative review I have ever posted online (or anywhere else). … Really don’t recommend her.

Dishonest, unprofessional, extremely greedy and clever con. I came here specifically to get a tooth pulled and she told me over and over, multiple times that it'd be better to get a root canal instead (much more expensive). After she examined me she insisted that if I still had a toothache then she'd give me discount and work with me if they're wrong. After getting a root canal, the same day almost as soon as the anesthesia wore off the pain was unbearable. I went back and saw her again and she took back everything she said about giving me a discount. All she said was sorry and if it cost to much I could find another dentist. This dentist here is clever and will lie and do what ever they can to nickel and dime you despite doing a very poor job in her profession. The dentist wasted all my time, giving me long conversations about her profession, her country and what to expect (falsely). I'm glad I found another dentist that got the job done despite wasting a bit of money dealing with… her.

My visit to Dr. Barizo's office is always professional, on-time, thorough and satisfying. I appreciate her and her staff. She is always friendly and does good work. I like coming here.

My visit here today was good. They took me in quick. Excellent.

It's only my second visit here, but I actually would recommend this place to my family and friends. The staff is nice and be very patient with me.
