Dr. Doris Eileen Hossalla, MD

Both of my children see Dr. Hossalla. We had to find a new pediatrician and after doing a lot of research chose her. We are pleased with our decision and always feel as though Dr. Hossalla is thorough and attentive with our children. We rarely wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen; only one time during the last 2 years have we waited 30 minutes to be seen. I would recommend using Dr. Hossalla to my friends.

Both of my children see Dr. Hossalla as well as the other doctor and nurse practitioners on staff. She's always very kind and attentive. Plus, she has a great sense of humor with my rambunctious son. She's easy going and a great doctor. She's been very thorough with coordinating with all of my daughter's specialists and then getting back to me. She's a great pediatric doctor and I highly recommend her.

We have had scheduled "well baby" appointments and end up waiting 2 hours to be seen. I do not feel that our questions have been answered. We took our child in numerous times with the same symptoms and were blown off only to discover that the symptoms were related to multiple food allergies - and a severe peanut allergy that causes us to carry an Epipen. It is not possible to see Dr. Hossalla if you make an appointment for the same day. You are usually seen by a nurse practicioner. They have one "well baby" room (a small office) but if your baby is 4 mo. or older you apparently do not qualify and wait in the lobby with all the other sick children. However, if you ask to be moved to the room they will let you if it happens to be available. I also agree with the previous review that the staff can be rude. Dr. Hossalla, herself, is a very nice person but a little forgetful.
