Dr. Doris Margarita Leedy, MD

My children first starting seeing Doctor Leedy when she was working from the Hospital. She takes time to get to know the children and the parents. She is very caring and genuine. Nobody is better than Dr. Leedy. It's very unfortunate that Brevard Health Alliance took over her office because they are rude, unprofessional and just put a bandaid on the problems, never any real results or remedies. Florida health care is a joke but when you get lucky and find someone like Dr. Leedy you feel reassured and at ease.

She has been my sons dr for years, she will take her time with your child. She will listen to your child and you. Awesome doc!!!

Dr. Leedy has been my children's pediatrician for 16 years and I wouldn't choose anyone else. In fact, I was disappointed when my son turned 18 and could no longer be seen by her. She has always been extremely concerned not only about the health of my children, but also about me (principal caretaker) as well. She is thorough, errs to the side of caution, has always diagnosed well, and if she is not sure about a condition, refers to the proper specialist. She handles emergencies well, does not get stressed out- even while suturing a screaming 2 year old baby! Couldn't ask for a better doc!

I have never had a problem getting an appointment (even same day appointments usually scheduled within 2 hours of calling). I have always been pleased with the knowledge of Dr. Leedy and staff. Wait time could be better. Usually wait in waiting room about 20-30 minutes after appointment time, then another 30 minutes in exam room. It is very hard to keep liitle children occupied for such a long time. Overall I continue to take my children to this office because the quality of care is more important than the wait, but it would be nice if the wait time could be less.

Dr. Leedy is an excellent Dr.I would much rather wait the time and recieve quality care for my child, than be rushed in and out and have my child misdiagnoised so a Dr. makes a few extra dollars at the end of the day.

OK doctor wise, horrible with children. No personality and doesn't seem to care much about patients personally. Didn't remember my children from one appointment to the next. Extensive wait time every visit.
