Dr. Dorothy Ruth Anoina, MD

I made an appt with this Dr in Oct 2021 for 1-20-22. I called on 1-10-22 to verify and was told my appt was set for1-20-22 at 12:15 pm. I arrived for my appt and Naomi told me the Dr was on vacation and they had called all her patients to inform them of this. I said I was not called and Naomi said it was because I was not on her list and was not in their system. She asked if I was a new patient and I said yes. She said the Dr was not accepting new patients. I told her I was not told that in Oct of 2021 when I made the appt. Naomi said the Dr was accepting patients then but not now. This made no sense to me. I waited 3 months to see this Dr to be told on the day of my appt, the Dr was taking new patients the day you made the app, but she isn't now. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. No apology at all.

Just left this office after waiting 45 min passed original appointment time. Staff would not apologize, would not even inform how long more I will have to sit and wait. Absolutely no respect for my time.

This OB/GYN is a great doctor and very thorough with her patients. But the consistent lengthy wait time is inexcusable. If the doctor is going to be this thorough, then appointments should be spaced further apart. Who wants to consistently wait time and again for 2, 3, or 4 hours before being seen?

Dr. Dorothy Anoina is an awesome doctor and surgeon. She is very patient and direct. I did my research on her before booking my appointment. She was worth waiting two months to get in for my initial visit. Also, I do not regret waiting three hours it took for the preop and postop visits. If you want quality and have patience, this is the doctor to see.

I have left Dr anoina office more than twice in tears cause either one I've sat for 3+ hours and didn't see her or sat there 3+ hours before I've been seen...as a doctor she's great but wait times are horrific

Dr. Aonina is the worst doctor I've ever had. The wait times are unbearable as I had to wait 4 hours on my first visit. During my first visit I was scheduled for a follow up appointment which never occurred as she cancelled and rescheduled the appointment for another date it has been 5 months now and I still haven't seen Dr. Anoina for my follow up appointment as everytime I'm suppose to come in for my follow up appointment it is cancelled.

I came to Dr. Anoina after receiving a great recommendation from a good friend. I was impressed with her website and loved the fact that the office hinged on Godly principles. Last week I suffered a miscarriage and needed to switch to a closer doctor to receive additional care. My husband and I were 5 minutes early to our appt. at 6:15 and waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor before leaving. During that time my husband ask reception if there was a reason for the long wait at which point he was told that there are always long waits and sometimes the wait can be up to 2-3 hours. After some time, my blood pressure was taken and we were rudely escorted to the doctors office where we sat for another 20 minutes at which time, I told my husband that I was ready to leave. One of the nurses told us that the doctor was now ready to see us but with the possibility of several appointments needed because of my miscarriage, I did not want to have to deal with the wait time or rudeness of… some of the staff, i.e. Wheaty. I believe that some type of apology should've been given in addition to a sensitivity to the situation that I was dealing with. When Wheaty was told that we were leaving she simply said a cavalier "ok, yall have a good night". Total inappropriateness, I am a reasonable Christian woman and if someone would've explained, i.e. the doc is running behind, we apologize, I'm sorry for your circumstance someone will be with you soon, but to have to wait for 2 hours and never be seen and be given attitude by the staff, I didn't want to give my business to this office at all. I'm sure Dr. Anoina is a great physician, but I believe she should give more etiquette and sensitivity training to her staff.
