Dr. Dorothy Kalyanapu, MD

I have known Dr. Kalyanapu for a few years now. She has been the most knowledgeable, caring, kind and amazing psychiatrist I have ever encountered. She is the one who was able to pin point the root issues my child was having and she helped tremendously. I highly recommend her.

Dorothy Kalyanapu needs the be jailed for her unethical behavior. She’s ignored the rule of law and is a danger to society. She is a sick woman.

I have written as many reviews on Dorothy Kalyanapu as I can to try and protect others. I will never adddress her as a doctor because doctors become doctors to help others. She cares nothing about helping others and I feel she is in need of help herself. She has broken the rule law as nurses from Sheppard Pratt have reported. She hides 72 hour holds and then writes false reports under the instructions of unethical lawyers who have violations against them, willing to to take a risk bc Dorothy Kalyanapu is no different. These doctors and lawyer care about the bottom line... money. It cost over $1,000 a day to lie and falsify records to keep these institutions going and for these unethical doctors and lawyers to make a lucrative income... this doctor should be in prison for a lifetime after the lives she’s destroyed.

Dr. K is great. I started seeing her after a TBI, and she has helped me so much.

Dr. Kalyanapu should be in jail for the way she treated me and what she did to me. She hid my 72 hour hold and pretended to lose it. She told me on my first visit behind closed doors that she didn't like me, didn't trust me, and would keep me as long as she felt like. Never knowing a thing about me. Not asking me any questions. She said this second she got me in her office privately. I panicked after she shouted those words to me in private. A nurse finally reported her after witnessing Dr. Kalyanapu ignoring protocol and secretly wrote down who to call to report her after the nuse saw how much weight I lost and was stunned. Sheppard Pratt has admitted to wrong doing. But that isn't enough. I left that horrible place weighing 87 pounds. My normal weight is 118 pounds. I had to have 24 hour medical care when my weight dropped further after leaving Sheppard Pratt severely traumatized. Dr. Kalyanapu is being reported to authorities this week for her inhuman treatment. She claims… everyone is bio polar as she wrote in my records never doing any testing on me or asking me any questions. I had to have a Evaluation after the trauma of the abuse I endured. The results came in as ADD with severe trauma, all inflicted by Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Kalyanapu and the awful staff that held me illegal for two weeks ignoring the voluntarily 72hour hold. Never ever take your child to her. She needs to seek help for her own psychiatric issues that are clear to see in her private office where she gaslights most patients in her 3 minutes of ridiculous antics that are any but therapeutic.
