Worst Doctor ever!

I cannot sing Dr. Mitchell-Leefâ??s praises loudly enough. After learning that we had infertility issues from my regular OB/GYN, we were tasked with choosing a specialist out of many in the Atlanta area. My husband, a physician, knew to look no further than Dr. Mitchell-Leef. She is quite simply a pioneer in this field, and her reputation among physicians is one of being a renowned expert. That she certainly is. During my time as her patient, she diagnosed and/or brought new light to multiple issues that impacted our fertility, including endometriosis, autoimmune disease, and a genetic blood-clotting disorder. She thoughtfully, carefully, and wisely treated each one, including performing surgery, using cutting-edge medication treatments, and treating each cycle with precision and full attention. Throughout our journey, she was a combination of direct, honest, curious, hopeful, and patient. No matter what obstacle my body presented, she developed new plans and new approaches. I have no… doubt that it is because of her care and the true dedication and top-notch training of her staff that we achieved two successful pregnancies and now have two healthy, happy children. Not a day passes that we donâ??t feel true gratitude for Dr. Mitchell-Leef and RBA. We continue to keep in touch with our team there and love sharing updates and photos as our children grow. I never hesitate to refer friends to Dr. Mitchell-Leef and have, numerous times, recommended that women get second opinions with her when they run into challenges with other clinics and physicians. Itâ??s also worth mentioning that RBA has, without doubt, the mostly highly trained and specialized infertility urologist in all of Georgia. We saw Dr. Witt for male factor infertility while my infertility was being managed. He was nothing short of wonderful. We now have the family we always dreamed of and long thought weâ??d never create, all thanks to RBA, these physicians, and their team.

Simply love Dr Mitchell-Leef. Wouldn't be tucking in my three kids tonight if it wasn't for her determination to help me become pregnant and stay pregnant. She is smart and knowledgeable. If you want to become a parent, Dr. Dorothy will be the one to help you figure out how. Thank you Dr? Mitchell-Leef!

I canâ??t say enough about Dr. Mitchell-Leef and her team at Reproductive Biology Associates. Iâ??ve been a patient of Dr. Mitchell-Leefâ??s for nearly ten years, starting with egg vitrification in 2005, through four rounds of IVF and the conception and birth of our healthy daughter in 2014. Throughout the years, I have been incredibly touched by the kind and generous spirit of Dr. Mitchell-Leef â?? from the many personal phone calls on nights and weekends, to her willingness to bend over backwards to accommodate her out-of-town patients. Despite that fact that she is a pioneer in her field and respected worldwide for her professional contributions, Dr. Mitchell-Leef never forgets that she is a mother first, lending her talents to those who want desperately to become mothers. Dr. Mitchell-Leef goes above and beyond treating the medical issues of her patients and considers their emotional, psychological and spiritual well being. She cares deeply for her patients.… My family is extremely fortunate to have been touched by Dr. Mitchell-Leef.

I am an old patient of Dr. Mitchell's, from when she was at Emory. After going to one of the so called best doctors in Atlanta for 7.5 years with no success, I was recommended to Dr. Mitchell, she found and treated my problem and in a little over a year I was pregnant. Because of her I have a beautiful 26 year old daughter.

My wife had an IVF done in consultation Dr. Dorothy Mitchell. We were very disappointed by the way her case was handled. The Dr. never had time to discuss the issues with us and until the day of IVF she kept saying everything is good. We were misguided about the chances of success of this process. Even on the day of IVF, she herself was not present to oversee the process (generally the doctors do). When we visited here after the failure, she advised us to try one more time. It appeared that they were just interested in making the money rather than success of IVF procedure. I would never go to such a doctor again neither I would recommend anyone going there. It's waste of time & money.

Dr. Mitchell-Leef has to be one of the best fertility doctors I've ever come across. She basically helped me overcome my PCOS to get pregnant - and I'm 25 weeks pregnant today. She's a no-nonsense doctor who is bluntly honest about your situation. She has a stellar track record. She also took me through extensive diagnostic work (a year and a half or so) to make sure they fully understood my situation. Her primary nurse, Nancy Ellsworth is also amazing to work with. They always follow up, they are extremely thorough, and they make you feel confident that the treatment plan you are on is the best possible option. She never downplayed the risks to the treatments I was getting. Now they are not the cheapest practice, but when trying to restore your fertility and have a family - you do not want to discount shop for your medical care. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dr Mitchell-Leef seems like a smart doctor, but she also acts like she thinks she is the only one who can possibly have any insights. She has a once size fits all approach based on studies that typically show better results. She and her staff have really bad attitudes and brusk mannerisms and this can be very hurtful when you are already hurting from infertility.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mitchell. She and her staff were totally caring and supportive during our challenges. We have a beautiful family because of Dr. Mitchell-Leef and her staff. I would refer any of my family or friends to her.

We had a bad experience at her office with Dr. Dorothy at Reproductive Biology Assoc Inc. We realize that she doesn't have time for the patient, is always on the run. We were not fully informed about the risks and chances of getting a successful IVF. The office is very active in securing the advance money but not so caring about the results of any treatment. In our case, she kept telling us that every thing is great, you are doing well and at the last moment we realized that all that was just the good side and we were never informed of the negative side of the tests. It was a huge emotional shock for us when we went for the procedure on the last day. She was not there to advise, results were not there as she told us earlier. It was a worst experience at her office and we won't recommend anyone going there.
