Dr. Dorothy Preston

Dorothy Preston, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University’s School of Optometry in 1987, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Preston is passionate about her work and the care she provides to her patients. She values her opportunity to play an important role in her patients’ lives by improving their vision from youth through adulthood. Away from the office, Dr. Preston has served on numerous boards in the community and is active in the Abilene Philharmonic Association and the Community Foundation Future Fund. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their family, as well as volunteering, traveling and playing golf.
