This doc shoots from the hip. His first impression is also his final diagnosis. He confidently slaps you with the diagnoses that ought to be the diagnoses of exclusion. If one does not explain all the symptoms, by God, he will award you another one. Unempathetic and supercilious. Beware

My son had been a patient with LPCH for over a year already when his condition began to lose a lot of blood due to a previously failed gtube surgery done ar another hospital in which his bowels and stomached were left perforated.i knew from previous experience that he needed to transferred to PICU to manage his level of care and to begin blood transfusion. I asked his nurse at the time why this wasn’t happening and he told me”probably because of his DNR status” I said what DNR, you know he is full code,right?” His answer was that the doctor had placed a verbal order on my son for DO NOT RESSESSITATE... When I complained about this to patient services, he physically hurt my child in front of me out of retaliation. One evil man in my book

Disappointed in Stanford... I must say! Dr is condescending, doesn’t have a growth mindset & practices puppy mill medicine in true Stanford fashion. He should just retire already.

Dr Bass and the staff at Lucile Packard Chilrens Hospital/Stanford saved my daughter's life. He and his staff are very caring.
