Now there are no words to express my contempt for the bedside manner of this doctor. My goodness you'd think that he would listen to his patients and, his repulsive behavior made it clear he didn't want to be bothered. Most doctors would value their patients time as much as their own. Failing to recognize when someone has been waiting is disrespectful to the patient and makes it seem like you think your time is more important than theirs. If you need to chart in an electronic medical record, make sure the computer is set up so that you can still face the patient when you type. The ability to communicate is probably the most important skill a physician can possess. Secondly, when going over vitals and asking a patient about medication popping up that is classified as a narcotic, shouldn't shoot to an assumption that they're an addict, for when one enters a emergency room they are asked their pain level from 0-10. In experience with most physicians that had hospitalized patient gave… them morphine or oxytocin while monitoring them. My visit to Mercy Medical Rookwood center was probably my first and last time, I will never bring another family member there as long there is breathe in my lungs.

This ED Physican gave me the caring bedside manner I need for my fibromyalgia most people think it's fake but it's not and he knows it!!!!!
