Doug Atlas is a true gem. A doctor who sincerely wants to help. It seems like we are running out of these people. He's a life saver. He's been a steady presence in my life for many years.

He spends about 10 seconds with each person and is too worried about time than his patients. Nurses there get rushed too!

I love Dr. Atlas, too - just as long as he keeps my prescription for "Vikes" current. Also, he is punctuality personified - I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Does anybody know - do doctors in general receive incentives from HMOs to NOT order too many tests? I think we all need to know this.
