Dr. Douglas Joseph Boven II, MD

Dr. Boven was very kind and patient during my entire appointment. He took time to explain everything that would occur during my test/procedure and answered all of my questions. He even allowed me time to calm my nerves without making me feel like he was rushed for time. I wish I could give Dr. Boven more that 5 stars for his bedside manner and expertise. He truly cares about his patients and giving them the best care possible.

As stated before he didn't see me his physician assistant seen me me he came in and said go to work he care more about his staff than his patients also about how he look he's conceited he don't return your call clearly he works for the disability people I would never go back

HE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE, ESPECIALLY FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT. HE PRESSURES YOU TO GET THE INJECTIONS & CONTINUES UNTIL YOU SAY YES. HE JUMPS TOO FAST FOR YOUR MEDICATIONS THAT YOU WILL & WILL NOT TAKE. HE DIDN'T EVEN GET "ANY" OF MY RECORDS. HE DIDN'T EVEN DO THE EXAM. HE HAD ANOTHER DOCTOR DO THE EXAM WITH ANOTHER DOCTOR IN TRAINING. JUST BY WHAT THE DR. WHO DID THE EXAM TOLD HIM, HE TOLD ME WHAT MY MEDICATIONS WOULD & WOULD NOT BE AFTER PRESSURING ME INTO AGREEING TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY INJECTIONS 3 DAYS LATER. I CANCELLED THAT APPOINTMENT ALONG WITH THE OTHER ONE SET FOR 2 WEEKS LATER. I CALLED & DISCONTINUED MY CARE THERE. PLUS, I TOLD THE LADY ON THE PHONE TO TELL DR. BOVEN THAT I FIRED HIM. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE SENT TO MY DOCTOR BUT, IT SCARED HER ! SHORTLY AFTER THAT, SHE AND I BUMPED HEADS SO CALLED TO SPEAK. HE WAS AWFULLY "COCKY" TO WANT TO MAKE SUCH "DRASTIC" CHANGES TO MY MEDICATIONS THAT I HAVE BEEN ON FOR OVER FOUR YEARS...... ESPECIALLY, ON THE 1ST & ONLY… VISIT !
