Dr. Douglas Eric Chamberlin, MD

Dr. Chamberlin is simply the best doctor I’ve ever been treated by, in any field. I saw him regularly for about 3-4 years and the work he did with me was amazing. I am always cautious about sounding overly sensational about receiving any given treatment, but he genuinely changed my life in those few years. I am legitimately a consistently more mentally and physically healthy person to this day as a result of my time working with Dr. Chamberlin. If you are looking for a highly intelligent, empathic, and effective psychiatrist, I cannot recommend Dr. Chamberlin enough.

What Md would totally drop his caring, good parents and then ask them to send his kids to college. The parents were good people wondering why?

Dr. Chamberlain is everything an excellent psychiatrist should be. I’ve been seeing him 14 years, after the death of a family member. I could not have managed without him.

Dr. Chamberlin is hands down one of the most intelligent human beings I've ever met. I'd nearly given up on getting help after 3 hospitalizations, outpatient programs and over a decade of therapists & medications that didn't work. Dr. Chamberlin saw what no other doctor had before. He is as knowledgeable in the fields of psychiatry and neuroscience as he is attentive to his patients. He listens to my anxiety-fueled rambling, takes notes, asks questions, and genuinely cares about getting to the core of the issues. He also doesn't try to sell you on medications. I've seen him about 8x, and he still hasn't gotten me onto medications, which is great (not that he wouldn't prescribe me, but he feels my issues are trauma-based and can be attended to wihout medication). He uses HRV biofeedback therapy, which is amazing and needs to be implemented more frequently in the psych community. Overall, the man is the only doctor in any field that I've come across in my whole life that I've… actually trusted. My biggest fear is a doctor not understanding my symptoms, or taking the time to hear them, and misdiagnosing me. I feel the exact opposite of that with Dr. C. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for an accurate diagnosis, and for anyone with a history of trauma(s).

Honest; has a lot of integrity. Listens. Stays current on newest medications and treatment. Absolute authority in his field. Caring. Will always call back. Best doc I have ever had.
