Dr. Douglas Frank Clough, MD

Rudest and most condescending doctor I have ever encountered. Don’t waste your time - wouldn’t sign off on home care twice because I “didn’t need it” and I ended up back in the hospital without the care that was strongly recommended by multiple other doctors.

If I could give zero stars I would! I went to appointment with my 90 year old mother. He was rude and abrupt and impatient. When she couldn’t come up with an answer he accused he of knowing and just not admitting it. She had just been released from the hospital and was in a fragile condition and confused. He is an abomination and should never be allowed to care for the elderly!

The day Dr. Clough retires, I will be in a panic. He is that Doctor that gives you confidence that you are in good hands. He's not only knowledgeable, he's intuitive. He straight talks, he explains and he has character. And so important, he listens. This is the definition of a great doctor.

In over a decade of practice, I have never had another professional treat me so poorly as I was treated by this physician. If his behavior is any indication of how he treats his patients, I would strongly advise anyone reading this to seek care elsewhere. This doctor should understand that when he makes an error, he should own up to it. Our common goal as professionals should be to help the patient.

Rudest office staff I have ever encountered

Assume to be arrogant and not patient focused or caring as he never returned patients call when he was on call after hours. Pages three times and never responded.

Which I do :)Dr. Clough (rhymes with tough) is funny and very smart. Has a great way of explaining medical terms and not making things sounds scary or too complicated. His staff is great too, but it can take forever to be seen (because he spends as much time as necessary with each patient, so I think it's a good problem to have). I'd highly recommend him.
