I am an 85-year old woman with some medical risks of hypertension and heart fibrillation which requires Coumadin. I needed parathyroid surgery to correct high calcium levels in the blood. Research proved that Dr. Denys was the best qualified ENT surgeon in the area. My surgery was highly successful with hardly any discomfort. He found the problem and corrected it quickly. Now my blood levels are normal. In addition, his office staff were caring, efficient and helpful as was the doctor. I will recommend Dr. Denys to anyone.

I was treated by Dr. Deny for a tumor in my neck. The tumor was near the nerve that controls my entire face. I was comfortable with him and everything went well. I think he did a great job and it is hard to tell I had surgery. His office staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend him to everyone I know.

I recently had my thyroid cancer removed by Dr. Denys. My experience with his office was smooth and efficient. I was nervous but he made me feel confortable and calm because he talked about every detail. My surgery went very well and my scar looks better than one made by a plastic surgery. I am happy I went to him and recommend him to people with thyroid problems.

I'm surprised that the rating stars don't include 'competence'. A good bedside manner and courteous staff are meaningless if you are misdiagnosed or your surgery goes wrong. I have met with Dr. Denys three times with various issues and found him kind, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. Observing his artwork told me that he has attention to detail and an intolerance for error in his work. I'm impressed with his quiet, unassuming manner. He may be more aloof on the initial visit, but not everyone feels like being your best friend the first time they meet you. I've met more personable staff, but we're all human and they get the job done; not smiling and being a talkative person does not equate to rude .And I appreciate a longer wait in the office when it means the doctor will also be taking time with me. I certainly do recommend Dr. Denys to my friends, or anyone, because I know they will get the best ENT care possible.

I had a 1" tumor in my parotid gland. This is a sensitive area since many of the facial nerves run through that gland. The standard for this surgery is an incision from the ear down the neck with potential facial nerve damage. Dr. Denys carefully isolated the nerves to prevent any damage. My incision starts just inside my ear and runs around the back of my ear. I am 3 mo. out and my scar is almost invisible and there is no nerve damage! He took a lot of time moving fat tissue to reconstruct the area the tumor was removed from. He spent almost 3 hours in surgery making sure everything was perfect. So happy with my results!!!
