Dr. Douglas John Fauser, MD

On a very favorable note, I was fortunate to have Dr Douglas Fauser, and his assistant Laura Klein, as my orthopedic professionals. Dr Fauser performed hip replacement on both my right and left sides, and I could not be more pleased with the results. Dr Fauser is one of the most professional, understanding and customer-centric physicians I have ever met. Both surgeries were performed at Somers’ Surgical Center (in Danbury CT), which is simply OUTSTANDING! The facility is, technologically, state-of-the-art, and the nursing staff there is unbelievable. With all of the surgeries I have had over the past 10 years, I have never experienced such efficiency, attentiveness, compassion, and overall professionalism from a nursing staff. Those nurses, together with Dr Fauser, are the epitome of what I would consider a stellar medical experience! I highly recommend this practice.

Exceptional care !! I have had many surgeries by Dr. Fauser. He has always gone out of his way to explain procedures and process ..I have never felt rushed or left without a plan or an explanation! I have recommended him to many of my colleagues….

I have been a patient of Dr. Fauser’s since 1992 with many past surgeries having taken place since then. If I wasn’t pleased with the treatment I receive, I would have gone somewhere else a long time ago. Dr. Fauser has a unique way of making you feel comfortable and after so many years, I consider him a true friend as well as being my orthopedist. I will miss him the day he decides to retire.

Dr. Fauser is one of the best Dr.'s I have been to. He is calm, extremely patient, and takes his time making sure you understand your diagnosis and treatment. The staff was wonderful as well. Professional, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this office.

Pleasant staff overall. Laura Klein was great. She immediately put me at ease and was very informative, friendly and efficient. She explained every step taken to remove fluid from my knee and add cortisone in a quick procedure with little pain. I left the office understanding my condition and next steps.

Dr Fauser is the best. Awesome Doctor,surgeon and great bedside manor. This is my 3rd surgery with Dr Fauser. Love him I tell him he is my god. Patty ????. Also He has a great team
