Dr. Geenans is a Godsend. Not only is he personable, friendly, confidence-inspiring and respectful, but he is an expert in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Though most people would expect an immensely proficient level of treatment from Dr. Geenans, a Graduate of Harvard Medical School, his expertise is far above and beyond anything anyone else without his credentials could provide. He is a Champion psychiatrist, and he has made a profound difference in my life, enabling me to function at my highest level, despite severe bouts of major depression, ADHD, and severe anxiety. Without this amazing man, I wouldn’t be here. Thank you Dr. Geenans for all of your help, guidance, and support. I will be forever grateful. Dr. Janice Downey (who doesn’t speak Arabic, incidentally), would highly recommend Dr. Geenans with her great respect for his genius level proficiency in all areas of the psychiatric field. To me, the most important part of a psychiatrist is availability. Being a private practice + pay (transparent pricing!) institution, I think Dr. Geenens has more flexibility. I was surprised at how I was able to get a quick appointment, communicate easily, and book everything online. I really feel that if i had an urgent refill or medication check his office would help me. He did not approach me as an outward skeptic, but listened to how I described my symptoms and gently brought forth an alternative hypothesis. He did not rush me, make me feel judged, and made me feel listened to. I feel like i am a part of the process and my input is valued. If you, like me, feel that your primary care doctor is picking prescriptions out of a hat for you to try, I really recommend making an appointment with Dr. Geenens. I would have saved myself a lot of time, effort, and frustration had I done it earlier.

Dr G helped to save my daughters life by pinpointing something rare and kind of emerging medicine. We travel from FL so he can treat our children who have attention problems. Our daughter has been seen by top psychiatrist around the S Eastern United States and Dr G is the VERY BEST and our goto for complicated.

Dr.Geenens I have been with dr .Geenens about 8months now.he listens gives good positive feedback and my whole life has changed .on the other hand I feel I have let him down by not be the responsible 46 year old that I am .

I have been seeing Doctor Geenens for years, he has been amazing to me and pretty much my whole family. I always feel like I can talk to him, and I can really be myself. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor.

Excellent Dr listens to patients. Doesn't take insurance 150 for initial then 70 every three months. If you're looking for a new Dr that will listen to, he's your man.

Freaking weirdo. That's my diagnosis for Dr. Geenens. I could not get out of that office fast enough. I read good reviews about this psychiatrist, but I felt like I was talking to a cartoon psychiatrist.
