Originally from this area, Dr. Douglas Glesmann graduated from Birmingham Groves High School. He attended the University of Michigan and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981.
After graduation, Dr. Glesmann served as a dental officer in the United States Navy with tours of duty in California and Japan. While there he gained further clinical proficiency through advanced training and specialty rotations. He is a retired Captain in the Dental Corps. with the U.S. Navy Reserves at Selfridge Air Base.
Committed to excellence, he attends numerous continuing dental education courses each year to study advanced treatments and procedures.
Dr. Glesmann is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
He and his wife live nearby and have two children.
