I was a 52 year patient of Dr. Henke’s office(I was a patient of the dentist who owned the practice before him). Upon learning that I was voting for Joe Biden and not a Trump supporter me and my family were terminated as patients. Dr. Henke’s hygienist was a devote Trump conspiracy theorist(Dr. Henke appears to be as well). They as an office were convinced that the election was stolen(despite zero evidence)and were furious that I didn’t agree with this insanity. As a result, me, my wife and two adult daughters were told we are no longer patients and needed to find alternative dental care. Truly shameful behavior and is reason that everyone person I have told this story to has elected to stop going to this office. Bizarre and sad story. Former lifelong customer.

Dr. Jayne Laszewski is one of the most empathetic and engaged psychiatrist that I know. In this day and age of fast-and-furious medicine-she gets to know you, treats you with respect, and is always looking out for your best interests. I've known Dr. Laszewski since 2001, and not only was she one of the most favorite residents for all the nurses at OHSU, but she became one of the most competent psychiatrists in Portland. Dr. Laszewski is non-judgemental, willing to meet you where you are, and she treats your life issues with expertise and research-based evidence. She's relatable, smart, and she has your back. What more do you want? She'll look that up for you too, or she'll refer you to a specialist.

Dr. Lazewski treats the whole person. She's willing to manage complex cases and to work with the patient to get a solution that works for them. She doesn't just throw meds at you, she talks to you, gets to know you and works out a plan. For routine things, it's sometimes hard to get an appointment, but for major issues, she can often squeeze you in.
