Dr. Douglas Allen Husmann, MD

We have been a patient of Dr. Husmann for 15 years. He is outstanding. We had a very complex surgery and follow up procedures. He is not only an outstanding surgeon but is a very caring and patient person. We are very lucky to have been cared for by him.

If you like a doctor who is straight to the point and very confident in what he's doing, Dr. Husmann is the one for you. I loved the way I could tell he knew what I was going through, and comforted me. I have been to MANY other doctors and none could help me. When I talked to Dr. Husmann, he knew right away what to do to help me. I found him, his staff, and his residents to be very kind and helpful people. I would not recemend any other doctor but him to do any urethral work.

I waited 3 months to see this "specialist"! The day of my appointment he was running 2 hours behind. When I asked about it; the staff was rude and not helpful. I found Dr. Husmann and his staff to be incompetent (at best). Dr. Husmann doesn't have a bedside manner. He is impossible to talk to or understand what he is saying in between his "are you following me's". Needless to say, I was less than impressed by the chair of the department of the great Mayo clinic. When I left there, I felt like he was going to chop me into pieces, if I would have allowed him to do surgery.
