Dr. Douglas George Kelling, MD

Dr. Kelling is the most knowledgeable physician I have ever seen. He listens and presents research to help patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options! Atrium is blessed to have him!

Dr Kelling has been my doctor for 30 years. He is absolutely the best! If I need something done right away, I see another doctor, because he is busy, but I always remind them that Dr Kelling is my primary. He is a busy fellow, but when I need him, he is right there with me telling me "we will take care of this". He is a sweet, dear man, who loves his patients and works hard for each one. I am blessed to have found him all those years ago. I appreciate a doctor that gives 100% to his patients.

Had it not been for the care of Douglas Kelling I would not be alive now. Thanks for a caring doctor like hi. !

Dr. Douglas Kelling is amaxing. He KNOWS his patients and thejd medical condition. He doesn't forget the patient's history. He is professional and empathetic unless yoj are still smoking!ð???

Dr. Kelling is the most obnoxious and arrogant physician I have ever come in contact with. He missed diagnosed and treated my mother with such disrespect. After the fact, my mother was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, terminal brain cancer. Had he not been such a pompous "know it all", maybe they would have done an MRI months earlier and caught the fast growing brain tumor. Instead, he treated my sweet, 65 year old mother with disrespect and as a "incompetent" hypochondriac.

Dr. Kelling is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. He is very thorough in getting to the bottom of whatever issue I have had through asking on-point questions and ordering the right tests. His care and follow up after diagnosis always takes care of the problem. Kelling will goes the extra mile for his patients to make sure they receive the best care possible.

Dr Kelling is wonderful. I don't see him all the time. I see the practioners because he is ususally booked up for weeks and I ususally want to get in sooner but if I felt it was important, I would definitely wait for him. He was so good to me when I was in the hospital a few years back. His concern was touching and I had no doubt that I was getting the best possible care.

Dismissive and short. Left while still trying to ask questions regarding treatment plan and test results.

Kept me overnight in hospital running me back and forth to X-ray several times; I got no rest. Diagnosed 5 major disease processes based on these multiple x-rays but he refused to come to my room to discuss these and sent his PA, which I said was not enough. One diagnosis was brain aneurysm-and he wouldn't come talk to me about it??!! I refused to leave until he came to discuss with me. Finally, around 7 p.m. he showed up, answered my questions with 1-word responses, very rude,sarcastic & told me not to worry about it. He earns money for NEMC by ordering every test he can get away with, then never again brings up the (mis)diagnosis for follow-up. He turned me over to collections for a bill I'd paid 2 yrs. prior. He may have book sense, but is arrogant, conceited not a decent man.
