Dr. Douglas P Kirkpatrick, MD

A great doctor. He operated on my mother, who was in her late 80's, for a fractured femur on a Sunday. She recovered with no complications. Also operated on her when she was 94 for a fractured femur and dislocated hip, his surgery was awesome. I also had a total knee replacement from Dr. Kirkpatrick. All went very well and his work was complimented by the physical therapist who said I wouldnt have regained the use I did without him.

Refuses to consider multiple other physicians diagnosis. Insisted they were all wrong and he only knows what he’s talking about. Spoke down to me

Arrogant. Told me I’m not in pain. I couldn’t believe how rude he was to me. He told me that there is no reason I should be in pain after 3 other doctors diagnosed my condition. Don’t waste your time unless you enjoy being insulted

Didn’t matter what I thought about my condition he told me I was wrong. Seemed nice but then I received my copy of the Visit and it seemed like he was putting me down for a condition I have no control over

Had a complete hip replacement and couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

I highly recommend Dr Kirkpatrick to everyone!

Getting an appointment was tremendously easy, next day--and I only waited 5 minutes in the waiting room. That was about the only good thing about my entire experience with Kirkpatrick.The office staff was rude, inattentive and didn't care about my needs as a patient. I was diagnosed with two different problems by the doctor and his PA. When I finally did have surgery they said they had 'read my MRI wrong and nothing was actually wrong'. When he came to my bedside to tell me the news he was rude and i rush to get to someone else, not taking the time to explain to me why it had happened. My follow up phone calls were never returned.2 months after the surgery I saw another orthopedic who correctly diagnosed, corrected my problem and I haven't had any troubles since.P.S--a friend's mother came to me explaining the exact same situation! he had read her MRI wrong, and done an incorrect surgery. Good thing she saw another doctor who actually fixed her problem too. Sounds like an insurance… scam going on here to me.

The office staff was rude, disrespectful and uncaring about how quickly I could meet with a knee brace specialist.My knee was also incorrectly diagnosed. I was told one thing after an MRI, another after a failed surgery and SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT by a better doctor.

I had an arthroscopic ligament release on both of my knees about 3/4 years ago. Felt 100% better! I recently had a traumatic knee cap doslocation that is reoccuring, and I'm not even second guessing going back to him. Awesome doctor... super knowledgeable.
