Dr. Douglas Karl Kleemann, MD

Dr. Kleemann may have many years of experience but this did not translate into any thoughtful advice during my visit. Instead of gathering facts about my medical concern and trying to address possible solutions, he came in the door seeming to know everything about me from my file. On top of this, his bedside manner could use drastic improvement. He talked down to me, interrupted me, and made me feel dumb for even making an appointment. He provided no help with my condition, and I would not see him again.

I miss him. He was my doctor at St. Francis in Federal Way, WA. Haven't found a replacement yet. Still looking but not likely to find one as good as Dr. Kleemann.

Dr Kleeman has been my doctor for more than 10 years. He is the best family doctor I have ever had. He is a very kind doctor. He is puntual and expects the same from patient. He has treated all my chonic or acute health issue effectively. He remembers or reviews my health history before each exam (many doctors I knew before came to patient room, spending time in patient room to review health history).......I cann't expect more from a family doctor.

I'm 24 years old and he talked down to me consistantly. Never helped with the problem I came in for. I will be finding another doctor.

Dr Kleeman has been the doctor of all five children. He has excelletn bed side manner. Listens to the children and relates well with them.

We cannot praise Dr Kleeman enough! He's been wonderful to all of us and love his "bedside manner" with our baby.

Dr. Kleeman is the very best doctor I've had in my adult life. I am a professional and perhaps considered very challenging. At my annual, I always have a list of things I want to discuss. He goes down the list, addresses each question, and comes up with a plan! What more can you ask of a doctor. Then he prints out the plan like a to do list through next year. He's helped me to work on weight loss, diabetes, cholesterol and other issues in this fashion. I have never felt as though I was so much a PART of my own medical care!Dr. Kleeman always makes sure that he brings out a drawing or model, or draws a chart himself, so that you know what he is treating and actually UNDERSTAND what his diagnosis and treatment plan is! I have never had a doctor work so hard to make me (a non-scientifically minded person) understand my own body and his plan for it.I have recommended several friends to him, for whom he is now their primary physician.As my husband got older and I was disatisfied with his… primary physician, I got him moved over to Dr. K. And now he sees me, my husband, and my 10 year old.He is an extraordinary doc. If you have the opportunity to work with him, do so!

Dr Kleemann has a knack when it comes to understanding what you're trying to say and making sense out of your confusion. He is very empathetic and genuinely cares about his patients. No one is "just another patient..." And his nurse, Julie...the best ever! Together they are an awesome team!
