Dr. Douglas Gavin Kondo, MD

This guy is magic. He has a deep understanding of the teenage brain, addiction and family dynamics. And that is all combined with a very special passion, empathy and humor that all of us hope for in a doctor.

Dr. Kondo was excellent. I wish I could still talk to him. Mom wont let me. He was the only one who could properly diagnose, understand, and care for his patients. 5 stars

Due to my experience with Dr. Kondo and due to his position, my child isn't able to see him as a doctor. However, I met him at a state NAMI conference and he answered questions afterward. He spent almost 2 hours with me, because our son is only 5 and bipolar it is difficult to have a lot of medication options. He then gave suggestions and gave me his business card so my pedetrician could call him about questions and meds. When you are down, frustrated, and sad about your childs diagnosis I left feeling better and hopeful. He took time out of his schedule to help me. That shows the sign of a wonderful and caring doctor. I appreciate the opportunity to feel that something can be done for my son. Dr. Kondo has been a great addition to providing that hope and understanding.
