Dr. Douglas Alan Landy, MD

Dr. Landy saw me (for simple anxiety) and my wife at the time at the same time (I assume unethical itself). My ex wife has always struggled with extreme mental illness. He misdiagnosed her and missed obvious symptoms of specific mental health issues. He was easily manipulated by her to the point where one must wonder why. He very inappropriately believed everything she told him about me and told others that she was fine mentally which was beyond belief at the time by many who knew her. He revealed confidential information about myself to her friend. He revealed to her that he has bipolar. He conducted his own experiments on her with meds (or lack thereof) that made her much worse saying he "enjoyed the research". Seems from other reviews he has been accused before of inappropriate interactions with patients.

Dr. Landy is the best! He's kind and compassionate. He's an out-of-the-box thinker who will get your meds on track. He listens attentively and he loves his job, which is reflected in the great medical care he gives.

Dr. Landy is an excellent pick if you've had trouble getting your meds correct and finding a good doctor. Extremely bright and excellent at medication management. He's easygoing, personable, compassionate, and has never canceled an appointment. Dr. Landy gets an A+

Let's get this man the mental health help he so desperately needs.

When I was hospitalized on the psych unit at Clifton Springs (W2), Dr. Landy passed me his phone number as I was leaving the facility on the day of discharge....multiple RNs told me that he had a history of sexual abuse
