Dr. Douglas Lindblad, MD, MD

We took our 8 week old daughter to see Dr. Lindblad for troubles with acid reflux. Dr. Lindblad made us feel like we were making up all of our daughters pain and symptoms. He also made us feel like we had no business having her seen by a specialist. Dr. Lindblad contradicted everything that our pediatrician had told us. Our pediatrician put our daughter on Zantac and Nutramigen formula for her acid reflux and Dr. Lindblad basically said that our child should not be on Zantac or Nutramigen and that she has does have acid reflux but should not be on any type of medicine to treat it. Even though our daughter took a bottle and spit most of it up while in his office and in front of him. When my husband and I asked tons of questions multiple times Dr. Lindblad did not answer. Dr. Lindblad provided no explanation to anything. My husband and I left the office feeling frustrated and even more overwhelmed then before going to the appointment!! When we asked about a follow up, Dr.… Lindblad did not want to see our daughter for a follow even though he ordered an upper GI and blood work. I would most definitely not recommend this doctor to anyone!

Doctor Lindblad took time away from his family last night to take care of our family and discuss our daughters follow up care. He was very patient and very thorough. In the midst of his evening and his daughter's playful visits in the background he found time to care and for that we very much thank him and appreciate his profound contribution.

My 6 yr old daughter went to this doctor for vomiting issues, especially at night 1 hour after falling asleep. She ended up getting blood work, which i understood, AND A RECTAL EXAM! What does a rectal exam have to do with vomiting??? How about some questions regarding anxiety, diet, and why he thinks it is acid reflux?

After waiting over an hour for this doctor, he was rude, condescending and made my 16 year old daughter feel like a bother and stupid. He should not be allowed to see patients, especially children.

Dr. Linblad was very patient and calm with our family. He took his time with my son, and then also took time with us to explain conditions, results, etc... He is very friendly, and seemingly had a calming effect through a difficult process...

It's been a few years since I've seen him because my daughter no longer requires his services, but he was always a pleasure to see. He really seemed to enjoy seeing my daughter at her appointment and even seemed sad when he knew that my daughter no longer needed him, but was happy that she was doing so well.

At first he was nice, very thorough, and I was confident that he would find what was wrong. But after a few visits, he thought that I was making up the pain and wanted to send me to behavioral therapy. Absolutely not returning to him.

good doctor, nice, spent a generous amount of time during the appointment.

He did not believe my child had serious pain. He wanted him to go to have behavioral therapy when my child was suffering from something he dismissed. Keep your children away from him.

Have seen Dr. Lindblad with my daughter for over three years to treat Celiac disease. He is very knowledgeable an is able to communicate what is needed to both me and my daughter. Takes his time in office visits so I get all my questions answered. Wouldn't have stayed with him this long if I didn't feel that we were getting the best treatment.
