A friend recommended Dr. Lipperd to us and it was a great experience. I usually don't enjoy going to any doctor, but this visit was very pleasant from beginning to end. Staff were friendly and location is easy. So happy I went!

He is so kind, and we never wait to be seen. Recommend to everyone!

Our whole family has seen Dr. Lipperd for several years, and we recommend him to all of our extended family and friends. He is very understanding and knowledgeable, and has the best staff in Birmingham who all take great care of us. The office is very clean and so easy to get in and out of, and we are always seen quickly. We are so fortunate to be in such good hands with Dr. Lipperd.

I came to see Dr. Lipperd as a new patient with flank pain. He immediately sent me for a ct scan for a suspected kidney stone, and he was RIGHT. The nurses were really quick to set me up for a referral with a urologist. Everyone was so nice, I was able to get in quickly and out again.

I don't know what these negative reviews are based on. I think some folks are just unrealistic. I can typically get in to see Dr. Lipperd on the same day. I have seen him since he first opened. He knows my history. Always asks about past illnesses and conditions. Always asks about my family. Very professional and I never feel rushed. I would highly recommend.

Reviews are a useful, but also, curious tool, because the perspectives vary so much. If I take time to check reviews, I read and consider the totality of them to help with my decision. However, so many times I come away mystified with some of the remarks. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lippard over a year, and I honestly could not offer one complaint, so the negative remarks really make me wonder if these people are talking about the same office that we use. These folks have bent over backwards to help us in any and every way that they possibly could. We chose Dr. Lipperd to use when we went on an HMO plan with Medicare. What a change!! I am a retired nurse, and I feel like we have "used them up," bothering them with questions/calls to help us navigate the Medicare process; everything from referrals to prior authorizations, to changing some of our meds for better cost efficiency. If there was a problem with untrained staff, none of these thing would get done. I've never asked… for anything that wasn't addressed that same day. They are patient, kind, and have done everything I have asked.....and believe me, I have called that office enough to have put the normal person "on edge." I don't know who Kim is, but Cindy, Dr. Lippard's nurse, is on the ball. I had tried for almost a year to get records from my doctor at UAB, and Tabitha got them in two hours, after I told her how many times I had tried. We have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Lippard and his staff. Dr. Lippard's credentials speak for themselves, and I can assure you that he knows everything about the body that he could possibly know. I talked with him recently by phone, think it may have been late on a Friday afternoon, with pain in the right side of my chest. We (Dr. Lipperd and I) discussed all symptoms via phone at length, and he scheduled and sent me immediately to the hospital for a CT of chest where they found that I had a pulmonary embolism. He took care of me and all follow-up. We couldn't be more pleased with the care we have received.

I came for my appointment and was pulled back almost immediately, treated very professionally by the staff and and treated with respect. The doctor was very attentive in listening to what I had to say and quick to try and get to the bottom of it. I love it here and am very glad to say that I definitely will be coming back.

the doc was nice like smiles and greets you but seems to want to get you in and out...I have a very serious medical illness and he did get proper scans ordered but did not look at my past medical history nor copied it and I brought the whole chart...seemed like because it was serious he just wanted to brush me off into scheduling of scans to get me out...I need someone who knows allot about the body and organs.....period...also I needed at least 8 meds were called in after two weeks NOTHING... I had to call and ask for this to be done....just seems they need to take things more serious....because your health is serious!

I have been going to Dr. Lipperd for a few years now and I highly recommend him to all my friends. I can usually get an appointment the same day, I spend minimal time in the office, and Dr. Lipperd always takes the time to discuss my condition and treatment options with me, as well as being open and patient with my questions about procedures and medications.
