Dr. Douglas Ryan Lippert

Douglas Lippert, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Douglas Lippert graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998 with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences.  He was then accepted into the University of Piitsburgh School of Dental Medicine, one of the finest dental schools in the country, and graduated in 2002 with his DMD.  In 2003, Dr. Doug completed a General Practice Residency at the Louis Stokes Department of Veteran's Affairs in Cleveland, Ohio.  He has been a dentist for nearly 10 years and has been through hundreds of hours of advanced post graduate courses in various fields of dentistry since receiving his DMD. 
Dr. Lippert's commitment to providing the highest quality of care to his patients was rewarded in 2010 when he achieved a Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.  Achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) is one of the few added distinctions that a general dentist can achieve.  The award was presented to Dr. Doug at …a formal ceremony in New Orleans, LA.  Dr. Douglas Lippert, DMD, FAGD is one of only 7 percent of general dentists who have achieved this honor.     
Dr. Doug's emphasis on keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements through post graduate courses and continuing education in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Douglas Lippert has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments, root canal treatments, sedation dentistry and Invisalign Braces. 
His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you to understand your concerns and goals.  Then, after a comprehensive and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you.  If you are fearful of the dentist, Dr. Lippert will address these fears without judging or talking down to you.  He understands the anxiety that is often associated with dental treatment and will take steps to ease and eliminate your fears. 
Dr. Doug is married and has two small children.  When he is not providing dental care excellence at his North Huntingdon dental practice, Dr. Lippert enjoys supporting the Pitt football and basketball programs, teaching his little boy to play baseball and being wrapped around his baby girl's finger.
