Dr. Douglas Adolph Mazurek, MD

I have been a patient of his for a very long time. He is a great doctor who has worked very hard to help his patients. I love the fact that he has so much experience treating COPD. You can't beat experience and Knowledge.

Never visit this doctor and associated group. I have heard and experienced him tell PT to get a will ready. They have misdiagnosed a loved one for over 5 years. He had PF and was never told for over 5 years. That could have saved him and some time to spend with us. I guess he really is Dr. Death. Go to Chicago, Indy or anywhere but this place. The staff is rude incompetent. Just call and you will see.

HORRIBLE bedside manner. Gives patients a diagnosis and basically tells them to get their affairs in order. No wonder it says he "treats his patients as individuals" on his website. He knows that's a lie. He treats them like a number with no emotion or compassion. Find another doctor...any other doctor.

Put a young girl in a coma , without permission, and then was going to put her in a nursing home

I've been a patient of Dr. Mazurek for over 16 years now. He provides professional quality care. He is so knowledgeable and experienced in his field that other physicians turn to him for information to help with their own patients. I worked at the hospital as well and performed translation services for Dr. Mazurek as well. As a translator I saw another side of the him. He is compassionate as well and takes the ups and downs of his patients personally, he cares. He strives to provide his patients with excellent and always improving care. As his patient he makes sure he follows up on your condition is available for emergencies. He sees his patients in the hospital instead of sending someone else as well. New patients should be aware that like any specialist he has other patients and an appointment is not always available on short notice. I recommend him without reservation.

Worst bedside manner I have ever seen! Was correct on malignancy, but offered no hope and no, it isn't final stage doctor!!!!
