Great Doctor. Very patient and listens.

As a first time patient, I was not impressed in the least. The downtown office location is "gently worn" to say the least. I was told Dr. Meier would be with me in 20 minutes but it was over 30 minutes before he arrived in the exam room without any mention of the delay. The technician performed the refraction but Dr. Meier never checked to see if her reading was correct - I've seen ophthalmologists for more than forty years and none has ever failed to recheck the technician's work. Finally, I felt as though Dr. Meier pushed the sale of items for sale in his office more than I was comfortable with.

Dr is thorough and gives samples and good instructions. He speaks softly so you have to listen well to hear all the info.He keeps up with all the latest developments in eye health.You will not be rushed, but you usually have to wait at least 20 minutes.
