Dr. Mielke has been a family cardiologist for my husband and his father for treatment and monitoring of their enlarged ascending aorta. This doctor knows what he is doing and treats his patients the way they should be. So happy he left ThedaCare to form his own practice.

Most of the visits were scheduled with his nurse practitioner! After being in hospital for 2 months due to surgical complications in 2016, he did nothing more than work to get me back to my normal medications. Went to an OBGYN who recommended some additional heart tests found issues! Sent me to a cardiologist in his healthcare system and that one has done so much care in short time for me. First time ever since diagnoses I can work without being tired, which is uncommon for congestive heart issue.

He saved my life! After being misdiagnosed for over 5 years I was referred to him and he discovered I had a major blocked artery on the right side of my heart. He sent me to a specialist who unblocked the artery. Then 6 months later I had other issues that he looked into and found a different problem and sent me to Appleton medical center immediately and they determined I needed a triple bypass surgery and because of him they were able operate before I had a major heart attack or stroke. I would recommend him to anyone. He is a wonderful Doctor.

As a patient, I was extremely pleased with Dr. Mielke's patience with ME, and he made me feel very SECURE.. he answered ALL my questions, and didn't RUSH my appointment along. He took the TIME and I was glad that I was REFERRED to him. Gave me that AT EASE feeling, and that I was in GOOD HANDS.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mielke for 11 years. He diagnosed me with my heart condition when I was a young mother with 3 small children. It was devastating. His bedside manner was amazing, and was wonderful to not only to me but my nervous husband. He continues to keep me strictly monitored, and is always caring when I making my routine visits. What's most important is that he always listens whenever I have any questions, and feel he truly cares about me.
