During her free time, she volunteers on the U.S. Hornet, is a board member of the Chabot Dental Health Education Fund Committee, gardens, and does needlework. Most of all, she love playing with her grandson, Cade.
Rebecca Peterson, R.D.H.
Rebecca …earned the Sigma Phi Alpha honorary award upon graduating from Northwestern Dental School (Chicago) in 1978. She went on to earn a B.S. in Nutritional Science from U.C. Berkeley in 1985. Rebecca has worked in periodontal offices and in the public health sector. She joined Dr. Mitchell's team in 1988.
Rebecca is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the American, California, and East Bay dental hygiene associations.
Rebecca enjoys swimming, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
Rosa Flores, R.D.A.
Rosa has been in the dental field for over seven years, completing the Dental Assisting Program at the College of Alameda in 2002. Shortly after, Rosa became a registered dental assistant (RDA). She spent four years in orthodontics, and for the past two years, Rosa has been working with Dr. Mitchell.
Rosa has resided in Alameda for over 20 years. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Rosa's love for helping people keeps her in the dental field. She aspires to continue her education and become a dental hygienist. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews. Rosa is also an avid salsa dancer.
Aja Yuen-Riddle, R.D.A
Aja was born and raised in the Bay Area. She attended Bryman College, graduating with honors in 2002 with a degree in dental assisting. In 2004 she took the state board exam and became a registered dental assistant. Aja loves working with patients and hopes to further her career in the dental field.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going to the movies, spending time with family, and going to the gym. What she enjoys most is being at home with her husband and her little black Chihuahua, Shay.
