Dr. Douglas M Montgomery, MD

Dr. Montgomery is truly one of a kind! He really is the best doctor I have ever had. Very compassionate and truly cares for his patients. Takes his time and always addressed any of my concerns and answered all my questions. I don't think there are many other doctors out there like him. Couldn't be more thankful!

I met Dr Montgomery almost 19 years ago when he was at Oschners in Louisiana. I was recently informed I was expecting quadruplets. Imagine my surprise. Especially knowing all that I knew since I was already a Labor and delivery nurse. He spent the time with me yo answer any and all of my questions and assured me we could get these babies to a reasonable gestation. It was because of him that I had the confidence and courage to do this. I already had a young child at home and other doctors wanted me to reduce the pregnancy to twins. Long story short, my boys are graduating high school in a week and going in four different directions. Thank you Dr Montgomery. No words can express my gratitude.

My favorite Dr I've seen so far. He listened to all my concerns and was very patient. He also made me feel very comfortable.

If you have to get the CVS done, he is your go to doctor. I drove 1 hour one way on 04/24/2015, just to have the procedure done by him. He is very courteous, knowledgeable and will explain the procedure every step of the way. I put me and my husband at ease regarding the outcome of the procedure & test results. If I ever have to get another cvs or an amnio, I will definitely go to him again :)

Oh my gosh, where do I start? I saw Dr M after my then-husband realized we were preggo with triplets. (This was 17 yrs ago when Dr. Montgomery was in New Orleans....been crying ever since!) Anyway, all the "experts" tried to convince me to "reduce" to twins. But not Dr. Doug! He was so confident I could carry my babies to almost-term, and indeed I made it to 34.5 weeks thanks to his positivity, his "you-can-do" approach (hey doc, ya might want to think about coaching the Saints....), his compassion and sense of humor. His good looks didn't hurt, either. My one "allowed" excursion a week was to a handsome, caring guy who cared about my unborn babies as much as I did. Yes, please!!! But seriously, I unexpectedly got preggo again when I was 41 and when I found out Dr M went to CA, I mourned for a few days. That's how great he is.

Dr. Montgomery was my doctor in New Orleans. I actually cried when I learned he moved on. He is very thorough, personable and just simply down to earth. He definitely had a calling to his profession. I bet he feels like he never worked a day in his life, he loves what he does.

I went to Dr. Montgomery for a CVS test, and he was great. He has a fantastic bedside manner during a stressful time, and he was very thorough in explaining markers, risks, and the procedure.
