Dr. Douglas Wayne Nespory, DO

I just wanted to comment on how professional Dr. Nespory and his staff are. He performed hernia surgery with ease. Not only an expert in his field but very good at explaining and caring about how to help make people better!! I just wanted to say thank Dr. Nespory!! Sincerely, Aaron Wood

A very good Dr

Incompetent developed infection and required 8 surgeries to repair his mistakes. Wish I would have sued and been able to stop him from doing surgery. Two years later still suffering.

I had to have five surgeries to fix his mistakes

I went to Liberty Hospital's Emergency Room in the wee hours of the morning complaining of pain in my lower abdomen. It was determined that I had a fever and had some kind of infection. It was assumed that I had a issue with my appendix. I was given an ultrasound and a CT Scan. Neither showed appendix involvement. A decision was made to admit me to the hospital for removal of my appendix later that day. I was given antibiotics and pain medication. As the day progressed I felt worse. The doctor on-call came in and explained that the appendix does't always show as being infected on scans, etc. Finally, after waiting from midnight to 3 in the afternoon, Dr. Nespory came into my room. He introduced himself and asked me where it hurt. I told him and he replied that it didn't sound like an appendix to him. He then came over and touched the area that was hurting me and said that I had a strangulated hernia. Then he demanded that the staff move me quickly down to surgery. That was a year ago.… I followed up with him and found him to be very thorough and personable. I cannot say that I was impressed with anyone else at Liberty Hospital. Following the surgery I was in great deal of pain and not a single nurse helped me when I needed to use the bathroom facilities or when I was walking in the hallway. Dr. Nespory, as far as I am concerned, was the only bright spot in the whole experience.

I was referred to Dr. Nespory for gallbladder surgery. Upon meeting him for the first time I felt completely at ease. He has a great bed-side manner, sense of humor, very patient in talking to and listening to me. He explained in great detail the surgery and what to expect afterwards. I would highly recommend Dr. Nespory without hesitation to family and friends.

I had gall bladder surgery. He would not give me any pain medications immediatly follwing the surgery or anytime after. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR, unless you're okay with being cut on, having organs removed and all without any pain medications.
