Dr. Douglas Nitta

Dr. Nitta has been caring for myself and my family for the last 10+ years! He is amazing! Caring, knowledgeable and great bedside manner. I am in the healthcare industry and have met hundreds of doctors…he is by far one of the best!

The doctor doesn’t follow up with emergency requests. I called first thing and left a message with the receptionist. Need to select emergency in order to get someone on the phone. Then, no follow up from anyone whatsoever. Now office is closed for the weekend and I am in pain. Will be switching my PCP for sure! If doctor can’t take on the responsibility of following up on his patient calls, doctor needs to STOP TAKING NEW PATIENTS OR WORK LONGER HOURS!

If you have a couple months to get an appt he is an ok doctor. If you have urgent conditions just go to urgent care. Some staff is rude, some are nice. It’s hit and miss. Find another doctor that can handle the patients they have

Dr. Nitta is the first doctor to actually ask me how can he help. I'm not just talking about my many medical issues but my living situation which effects our over all health. His words were so touching. At that moment I realized that he really did mean it as a human being to another human being.

Dr. Nitta comes off as uncaring and lack of a general overall strategy for his patients. when talking to him about my dad's medications, he says , OH that one was taken off the market. He is the one who prescribed. if something is considered poor or off the market, it seems like the prescribing Doctor would not continue to refill. He is also quick to refer you off his plate and get out of the room. The biggest complaint is that he does not focus on the patient and show concern or interest in how they are doing. Everytime we have brought my dad in it is the same impression as you leave. I would definitely not recommend him as your primary doctor.

Ive been going to Dr Nitta for about five years, he is a great Dr Nitta never had to wait more the 15 mins, he gets straight to the point either gives me a presribtion or sends me else where, love the fact all i have to do is call in for my precribtions

Great Doctor!!!

During my visit, I informed Dr. Nitta that I do not take pills and if there were any medicines that need to be prescribed if he would please prescribe gels or creams . He prescribed me an antibiotic pill with death as a" side effect" . I had questions and concerns during my visit and he brushed me off and rushed out of the room, I was practically a new patient . His office manager is disrespectful. I willing be looking for a more compassionate and patient physician.

Dr.Douglas Nitta should NOT be allowed to to doctor anyone, or anything. It does not matter what you have an appt. for, its the same outcome every time . They take your money , you wait for up too an hour, see Nitta for AT THE MOST 3 minutes. No matter what the appt is for he will either write you a perscription or send you to some one else . Often times it was both. You have questions? Ask away...just dont expect any answers, ..he does not even look at you when you talk, he is too busy writting a perscription for.you. The office staff is rude. No one there cares about medicne or people or helping ill people, or answering any health questions. After staying there for 3 years I couldnt take it anymore, I switched insurance companies and found a different Doctor. ...I would probably be dead by now if i had stayed with Nitta. I have hypothroidism ....if Nitta would have taken my appointments and symptoms seriously...heck, if he cared to listen, he would have found that 3 years ago. He… lacks people skills , wont look you in the eye when your in the same room , he goes in to the exam room he sits down with a perscription pad and starts writting away. Hiz idea of being a doctor is " get them in get their money get them out" by the time you leave you realise NOTHING has been addressed. Nitta is really just a lazy crappy poor excuse of a doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nitta's for over a few years and I absolutely would not go anywhere else. Great doc and staff.
