Dr. Douglas Alan Portelance, MD

Dr. Portelance is very focused and intelligent. He listens intently to his patients complaint and then does and thorough physical examination. I have not trusted primary care providers that I have been to over the last decade of my life. I regret not choosing Dr. Portelance years ago. I believe a potentially serious medical condition that has developed would have been prevented had I been under the care of this skilled physician. I highly recomend chosing Dr. Portelance as your PCP.

I didn't feel that Dr. Portelance was paticularly interested in my health. He didn't read any of the "New Patient" forms that I had filled out, so he spent 15 minutes asking about my health history and writing down the same answers in my charts. Ignored my request for a referral to a specialist regarding leg pain. Overall, this visit was a waste of my time.
