Douglas Reznick, MD

He is rude to patient and family. He comes across as very arrogant and does not explain procedures and their outcome. He only prefers to work with the doctors of his choosing and does not respond to requests of other physicians he does not like. That is hard for the patient as we sit and wait for his response and then pay more co pay dollars because tests have to be redone. It is almost like how dare you question me. The word cancer is frightening and I just expected more from an oncologist along with an explanation of why something is not recommended as opposed to feeling dismissed.

When I met with Dr Reznick he was very compassionate & understanding with my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable & informative. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Reznick is extremely personable and knowledgeable in his field. When I was diagnosed with lung cancer, I was extremely scared and afraid I was going to die in the near future. Not only did he reassure me and my family that I had a chance at beating it, but his compassion and follow up phone call really put me at ease and earned my trust.

He cares more about being "right" than he does about his patient. Dismissive of my concerns.

Dr. Reznick was out of town a lot. If you do not agree with his treatment, he will stop all communication. His front desk office girls and his nurse are rude like him. He does not return calls because he'd rather you come in so he can bill for it. I would NOT recommend this doctor.

Should not be licensed in US period. I went to see him for one problem and he was convinced I had another...ran two sets of tests that cost me over $300 and never got back to me with the results to either. He never addressed the issue I went in for. Useless!!

when I was diagnosed with CLL - non-curable cancer - I was told by Dr Reznick "It's no big deal, it's so slow progressing you won't need treatment for 3-5 years". Within 6 months, I was doing chemo 3 days a week 6 hours a day every 3 weeks. While I know DR's have no way of knowing an outcome, they need NOT PLAY GOD. the words "CANCER and NO BIG DEAL" don't belong in the same sentence.

Dr Reznick is great at spending time with each patient. He is wonderful about answering all of my questions and is very empathetic and kind. The only critisim that I have is sometimes he is late in getting to my appointments (I try to have th early appointment as I need to get to work) and this sets my chemo time back and makes me have to take more work time.
