Dr. Schippers has been a member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association (MDA), the West Michigan Dental Association, and the Holland/Zeeland Dental Association since starting his practice.Â
He has lectured at the National Convention for the American Association of Endodontics and at local meetings. Dr. Schippers has developed two prototypes for the advancement of endodontic therapy. These include the A.I.D. or apical irrigation delivery system along with a new endodontic explorer. Dr. Schippers is constantly adding to his armamentarium for improving the quality of root canals. In the past this has included digital radiographs, nickel-titanium files, and negative pressure irrigation. In 2011 the cone-beam C.T. scanner will be added, making Dr. Schippers the …only endodontist in western Michigan with this technology.
