Dr. Douglas Philip Sinn, MD

I believe Dr Sinn has retired but I still want to say that he was not only a good doctor but a very kind man. He treated me once as a walk-in patient after a referral from a dentist who could not diagnose my problem. Dr Sinn immediately determined what my problem was and treated it. Will always remember him in the best of best list.

Dr. Sinn is a one-of a kind surgeon. I traveled 22 hours door-to-door to see Dr. Sinn on two occasions, since Dr. Sinn is renowned for his craniofacial work. There are few surgeons globally with the experience and know-how Dr. Sinn has in the field of craniofacial surgery. These were the facts that I was aware of and the reason I traveled to see him, but having now also undergone surgery with Dr. Sinn twice: Dr. Sinn lives up to his reputation. He has performed complex craniofacial surgery on me that I would not have trusted another surgeon with. He is an incredibly gifted surgeon. Additionally Dr. Sinn went out of his way to give me a good result from surgery, investing a lot of his time (and even his spare time) in surgery that turned out to be complex. If this was all not enough, Dr. Sinn is a pleasure to deal with: he is kind and thoughtful, down-to-earth, listens to possible concerns and really strives to obtain the best result possible. His staff follows the same work ethics:… they are invested in their work and sympathetic, attentive and fun :-). As a patient you would be hard-pressed to find a cranio-facial surgeon with the same experience and talent.

This man could not fix the issues on my face even with a 2nd surgery (and payment!). He kept promising me everything, but never delivered the results! He did however carry out surgeries on me without my permission, with which he ruined the parts of my face that was at least nice (till he touched them). This man caused irreparable damages on my face, and did all this in a really bad taste. I do not understand that if someone neither has the eye nor the talent for something, why he keeps forcing doing it..... This man has ruined my life, and took all my money for it !!!!!!!!!!

not just that this man performed surgeries on me he was not allowed, he refused to provide me the paperwork, I believe I have the right to receive. How much lower can a person and his office get??!

Dr. Sinn is the best dentist, surgeon, Oral Maxillofacial doctor anywhere. If it wasn’t for Dr. Sinn I would be dead. Forty years ago I was shot in the jaw and Dr. Sinn literally saved my life. It took eleven surgeries. He didn’t just save my life, he reconstructed my face. It took a healing period but Dr. Sinn put my face together with no nerve damage and within a year you couldn’t tell I had any work done. Dr. Sinn is now my family Doctor for me as well as all my family. I would put my life in his hands and never think twice about it.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE GOING TO DR. DOUGLAS P. SINN TO GET ANYTHING DONE! He dared to perform surgeries on me I never asked for or allowed, one I even prohibited! I gave him my life saings and trust to get my face fixed, so I would be satisfied with it. We signed for what I wanted to be done to make sure, the result will exactly be, what I desired. I kept begging him to follow our agreement, and he assured me several times, that he will. Then he went wild in the operating room and besides the procedures we agreed on, he performed procedures on me I never wanted, or I even prohibited! Actually .... out of the ones we agreed on he didn't even bother doing a few. For my trust and a lot of money, this is what I got in return!! Over all I am NOT SATISFIED with the result of ANY of the procedures we agreed on, and on top of that he threw in these extra procedures, I did not want or need!!!! These unwanted procedures just ruined on my apparence, and besides that I do not know how… he had the nerve to go ahead with them, I do not see whatsoever HOW HE DID NOT SEE, that I DID NOT EVEN NEED THEM!!?? I thought it only happens in horror movies but this is the actual "care" he provided to me! The 1 star I gave him is representing that I am not just dissatisfied with what I got in return for my money, but I am in constant rage if not on sedatives and losing my mind, if have not lost it all yet. HE RUINED MY LIFE!
