Dr. Douglas Alfred Stein, MD

Dr. Stein is great with my kids. He always answers any questions I may have. Tries to calm kids down if they are upset by talking with them or joking etc. His staff is great. Jerry is his nurse and she is the sweetest lady ever. She is always quick to return phone calls when I call with questions. We are about to move 45 min away I will NOT Be changing doctors they are great!

My daughter saw Dr. Stien from 2 months old to 2 years old (until we moved out of state). He is an amazing pediatrician. He is great with kids and always took his time and listened to my concerns. I wish we hadn't moved. It's been impossible to find a pediatrician who equals up to him.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Stein pretty much since she was born (September 2009). I have NEVER had a negative experience at his office. Tamara (the receptionist) and Jerry (the nurse) are wonderful ladies - extremely sweet and helpful. If I have a concern (like most first time moms have) - then I am given the option to come in so Dr. Stein can check on my daughter...or I can just have him call me back. He makes sure that my husband and I understand exactly what is going on as far as developmental stages go...and he does NOT rush. He is always very thorough and gives me time to ask questions during the visits. I highly recommend Dr. Douglas Stein if you are looking for a new pediatrician for your little ones. I promise you will not be disappointed. :)

Dr. Stein is absolutely wonderful. He is great with kids and adults. He takes time to listen to questions and give explanations patiently. The best part is that because of him, our daughter has slept through the night since she was 6 weeks old!

This is the doc we were assigned to by our insurance. He doesn't listen to the parents, rushes through apts, and the kids are the ones who will ultimately suffer. How can you totally blow of a neurological exam on a kid with a head injury, not properly clean the wound on his head to get a good look and then just send the family home saying "it should heal just fine." My son had a laceration that ended up needing staples in the ER. Had we followed his advice, we would have probably been looking at a nasty wound infection.
